There are a lot of great resources out there for cleaning an infected system.

Because there are essentially two different kinds of threats Spyware/adware and Viruses it may require 2 different approaches to cleaning your system. You absolutely must have an antivirus program and one that is up to date.You also must have a Spyware/Adware detection and removal program that is up to date. New threats are being unleashed on unsuspecting victums everyday so you need to protect you computers and your personal information. There are some programs out there that combine the two threats into one security suite such as Mcafee and Norton. I do caution you about these they can actually slow down your computer because they install so many services in the background of your computer.I will recommend the ones that I have used over the years but you must do somthing.
